Catherine should be removed from the board. She violates the ACC guideline rules as well as the Johns Creek Property Codes. Like Pearlman and Ralph, she thinks she is above reproach...meet dumb, dumb. Better yet, a.k.a. Dumb, Dumb and Dumber.

It is so questionable how someone so uninformed could get appointed as the ACC Chairperson when she has been GUILTY of violations through all of 2009.
If you really want to understand what is wrong with the Rivermont BOD, you need look no further than Catherine and Ralph. They both believe they are autonomous. Both of them have an awful lot to learn, but then again they have both surpassed the age of learning.
Bekto is just one of two BAD EGGS still serving on the Rivermont BOD. Hertlein is the other.
Want to know how to improve our community and get it back on track? Call for the removal and resignation of Catherine from the BOD. She has plagued the reality of what is best for Rivermont by her actions. Completely unknowledgable about the ACC, the By-Laws and the Covenants. Essentially a very ignorant person.
Due to Bektos very poor performance as ACC Chair, Rivermont has now become "open game" for legal action against the board by any and all residents of our community. She has compounded the problems of the ACC by compromising the integrity of the ACC. She even has violations on her own property and upon being elected to the BOD, released her own pending fines.

You managed to take away the rights of those wanting Rivermont to remain a respectable community through enforcement of the ACC Guidelines and instead have allowed non-compliance of those that have little regard for and what it means to keep the community looking its best. You have failed miserably and every day that goes by reminds the whole of Rivermont how unqualified you are to serve on the BOD, and especially the ACC.
Totally destroyed the integrity of the ACC within 3 months of becoming Committee Chairperson by forgiving fines against selected homeowner's and is intent on removing all fines throughout this community. She has violated the By-Laws of Rivermont through this process and has caused huge legal fees because of her actions.

Look around and see for yourself how Rivermont is quickly falling into disrepair because of the lazy ass ACC shennanigans of the current Chairperson. If you think the current economic downturn has hurt your home values then think again because of the current ACC failures most Real Estate Agents will not show Rivermont property.
Thanks to Bekto, we how have at least (3) separate trash trucks every week driving down and throughout the streets of Rivermont. Did you know that Bekto forgave more than 90% of fines against homeowner's for violations. If you paid any fines since the beginning of this year, you got screwed.
The last ACC drive-thru of July 13, 2010 was conducted by Hollie Battle of CMA, Bob Ayers, and the moron Ed Pearlman. The last persons in the world that should be on a drive-thru in Rivermont would be Pearlman, Styles, Hertlein, Bekto, Schneider and several others.
Her husband parks his pick-up truck off the driveway and on the grass. Also a Johns Creek Code violation.
Has completely destroyed the ACC. Forgave all fines against her buddies and cleaned the slate. No one has to abide by ACC guidelines now or in the future because she has now set the precedent - enforcement of ACC guidelines has been compromised.

She will hand Rivermont Homeowner's "their heads" on a plate. Has no real concept how to run the ACC Committee. Has surrounded herself with some of the biggest "loser" and Guideline violations homeowners in the neighborhood. For instance, Bob Schneider, Jim Styles, Ed Pearlman, and others that are bringing Rivermont down to the level of Chamblee/Snellville. It is really ashame. The previous ACC was a very smooth running and efficient operation prior to these nut cases taking charge.
After five months of "Butt-ko" as Chairperson of the ACC, look around and you will realize she is asleep at the wheel. Violations upon violations which are destroying the appearance of Rivermont. Never before since more than 5 years ago has this community become such a shambles in such a short period of time.
I see cars parked on the streets facing the wrong direction, trash cans left by the curbside for days on end, holiday decorations still on some homes, tall grass, inappropriate real estate signs, unkept yards, homes needing painting and yet the ACC just sits on their hands.
It has become very clear that the ACC has made some fatal mistakes since being chaired by "Butt-ko". The ACC has been so relaxed that now Rivermont is really beginning to show its' age.
Completely fouled any integrity of her committee. Has lied about circumstances with no discernible facts to back up some of her wild claims. Such as homeowner's not allowed to participate on drive-thrus as it may become a liability issue and the board could get sued. Untrue. This was only a method to use as a means to prevent those other than her selected few to participate as committee members and be present on drive-thrus. If this were true, then why is Jim being a "lackey" for her laziness and participating on drive-thrus would lead one to question her motives.
Crucified the Rivermont ACC Guidelines through non-enforcement. The neighborhood is becoming a shambles. Has forgiven fines for violations while at the same time has not reviewed circumstances that generated the fines. Essentially, no one can ever be fined for violations as she has compromised the integrity of the rules set forth in the ACC Guidelines. The 2010 BOD is functioning under illegal representation since it has been declared that the covenants/by-laws are unenforcable due to failure to renew by a vote of the homeowner's in 1996. Can't have it both ways you idiots, and any one can contest the validity of the individual's currently representing the community as board members. Demand you money back if you paid any fines over the past four years.
The same 65 homeowners are still threatening to sue the board if the covenants and by-laws are not restructured to their pleasure which means Rivermont could become another Snellville. Already you may have seen the change due to relaxed enforcement of our by-laws and covenants.
Being on the board isn't ROCKET SCIENCE. What the hell is her problem.
Have you heard that the ACC has forgiven most if not all fines levied against homeowners that incurred violations over time. Those forgiven are primarily the majority of their own personal friends of the ACC Chairperson as well as the "65 homeowners that conspired to sue the board last year". Now that they got what they want and their real agenda for running for the board they don't know much about what to do except to "twiddle their thumbs". Be prepared to stand in line to ask for a refund of your fines paid during the past four years. They owe you a refund. That is the law and if they refuse then they are practicing discrimination.
